The Simpsons Road Rage: Mr. Burns is the bad guy – no surprise there. He has bought up all the transit systems in Springfield. Since he has control he begins to overcharge everyone for the services. In the game, the citizens (controlled and managed by the player) must earn money by driving around town and trying to regain control of the transit system.
You start off with 17 different vehicles you can drive or collect. You have 10 different missions to make it through. The player must earn more and more money to get each vehicle and a new starting position. To complete a mission, you have to complete certain tasks within a time limit.
Earning money is fairly simple. You get to drive your vehicle around, picking up other people and taking them where they want to go. But you have to avoid accidents, street objects, rocks and even Smithers’ car. Mr. Burns’ transit buses also have to be avoided. Any similarity between this game and Crazy Taxi is coincidental although a lawsuit was eventually settled out of court.
